Jonas Troubleshooting
Systems are running
PDC
- See if it is on the taskbar
CreditLine Server
- See if it is on the taskbar on the server
- Or if it is running as a service, open \911\DATA\CCV_LOG.TXT file and see if the log lines have the recent time
System paths are correct
CreditLine Server
- Go to “Help” -> “About”, and see the Data and Message folders
CLCAPI
- Go to C:\C9PG\LOGS
- List all the files, and locate the most recent file (Jonas uses a random number for names so hard to match up terminal names)
- Open the most recent log file and search for 911 Data and Message file values the DLL is using. These two should match.
System IP and ports are correct
CLCAPI
- Open CLCAPI.INI and check the PDC URL entry in the Device section.
- The PDC URL should have the IP address pointing to the IP that the PDC is running at
- The port number is different for the terminal should match the port number that PDC is using
- If Windows Terminal Services is used, which requires multiple instances of PDC:
- Check the [Device.TERM??] section
- The port numbers should different for each terminal, e.g. 10101, 10102, 10103
PDC
- Open FrontEnd.INI and check the listening URL entry
- The IP address has to be 0.0.0.0 as it is in server mode
- The port number should match what the terminal is set in CLCAPI.INI
Cloud connection settings are correct
PDC
- Go to “Connection Settings”
- Check connection types; use HTTPS only
- Click “Test” and it reports a successful result
Pin pad device settings are correct
PDC
- Go to “Device Settings”
- Check connection types, USB, Ethernet, etc.
- Click “Test” and it reports a successful result
Pin pad
- Click ‘F’ key 4 times
- Check connection types, USB- CDC, Ethernet, etc.
